Industrial units use these shed for storing raw materials or finished goods which are ready for delivery or for the purpose of storing the machinery and equipments. In the field of agriculture the farmers use it to park their tractors and store other agricultural tools, or keep their horses, cattle’s, cows etc or keep the fertilizers as per his wish.
These types of sheds are loosing their heritage day by day because metal sheds are superceding them as they normally are more durable and stable as compared to the wood sheds and are able to withstand extreme weather conditions. Wood sheds require more maintenance than any other type of shed. Wood sheds are not durable for a long term because there are always chances of it getting affected with fungi, white ants or wood eating rodents etc. Wood sheds are many times not useful in rainy seasons. If such sheds are not maintained properly then they may spoil very quickly.
